Full Time | PAYE | 40 Hours Per Week

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction and refurbishment contractor delivering residential improvement works across Kent and South East London.

Due to continued project growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Painter & Decorator to support refurbishment and upgrade works across a number of live projects.

The Role

This position will involve decorating works within existing residential accommodation, typically following refurbishment or upgrade works carried out by the wider site team.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of surfaces including filling, sanding and making good
• Internal painting of walls, ceilings, woodwork and trim
• Decorating newly refurbished kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces
• Touch-ups and snagging works prior to handover
• Ensuring a clean and professional finish to a high standard
• Maintaining safe and tidy working areas within occupied or void properties

Projects are located across Dover, Folkestone, Woolwich, Maidstone and Gillingham, with work allocated to keep travel as reasonable as possible.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
• Strong preparation and finishing skills
• CSCS card
• Ability to pass a DBS check
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently

• £34,000 salary
